Description

We are seeking experienced Psychologists to conduct one-off psychological assessments and prepare medico-legal reports under the MedCo framework for individuals involved in Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs).

Medco Psychologist - UK wide - RTA Medico-Legal Assessments & Reports
Location: UK-wide (Clinic-Based or Remote)
Fee: £215 (MedCo Band 4 Fixed Rate)

Role Summary (Consultancy):

You will be expected to:

Conduct a psychological assessment (face-to-face or remote)

Evaluate:

Pre-accident mental health

Psychological and physical injuries

Current condition and treatment

Prognosis and impact on daily life

Produce a CPR Part 35-compliant report including:

Diagnosis and prognosis

Expected recovery timeline

Recommendations for therapy sessions (if needed)

Statement of truth and duty to the court

✅ Requirements (Medco Psychologist - UK wide):

HCPC or BPS registered

MedCo-accredited (or willing to register)

Previous experience in medico-legal reporting

Clinic availability is preferred

Rate: £215 per case (MedCo Band 4 - Psychologists
