We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils and teachers to help deliver high-quality education and pastoral care.

KS2 Teaching Assistant – Inspiring Young Minds
Location: Padiham
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

-          Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons across KS2.

-          Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning.

-          Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.

-          Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

-          Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and activities.

What We’re Looking For:

-          Experience working with children in a school setting (KS2 preferred).

-          A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning.

-          Strong communication and teamwork skills.

-          A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable.

-          A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
