Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care 📍 Ipswich | 💼 Full-time | 💰 From £32,000 per year

Ready to lead with heart and humour? our client provides safe, therapeutic homes for young people up to the age of 17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The company is very proud to hold “Good” by Ofsted—and we’re aiming even higher.

A Day in Your Shoes Might Include:

*

Leading handovers like a pro and keeping routines on point

*

Supporting kids through school, life, and the occasional meltdown

*

Coaching staff with wisdom, warmth, and a touch of sass

*

Managing rotas, inspections, and the occasional spreadsheet showdown

*

Stepping up when the Registered Manager steps out

You’ll Need:

*

2+ years in children’s residential care (Senior or Deputy level)

*

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (required)

*

A full UK driving licence and a full tank of resilience (required)

*

Willingness to tackle the Level 5 Diploma (they will fund it!)

*

A sense of humour and a serious commitment to safeguarding
