SEMH Behaviour mentor

Primary School experience required!

£75 - £80 a day

A well-resourced Primary School in Cricklewood (jubilee line) are looking to find an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join them in September 2020 on a full-time basis.

As a mentor, your role will be to provide support and guidance to a young pupil who is experiencing difficulties with their learning progress, due to social, emotional and mental health issues in their personal lives.

The school is proud to support young pupils and help them fall in love with learning and learn to become aware of their frustrations, whilst learning to manage their emotions towards education and their peers. You will be responsible for being a positive role model for each child, finding ways to relate to them and always focusing on their potential and encouraging them to achieve their goals.

Previous experience working with primary aged children is required for this role, preferably working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Additional training for managing behaviour, such as Team Teach or MAPA is highly desired!


* Previous experience working with Primary aged pupils (required)

* Experience with SEMH / Challenging Behaviour

* Team Teach or MAPA training (highly desired, but not essential)

* Available from September 2020 – Full-time position

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
