Description

Our client, based in St Ives is seeking an experienced Bench Joiner/Carpenter to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm.

As a Bench Joiner/Carpenter, you will be responsible for cutting wood/timber to required lengths and making bespoke joinery that will be assembled on-site in the workshop. You will be required to manage multiple projects at any one time working to various deadlines. You will be responsible for accurately reading drawings, wood machining and assembly completing various projects from start to finish. This will also include making adaptations to fit clients requirements, you will ensure that stock levels are correct and report any defects in materials.

To be considered for the role of Bench Joiner / Carpenter role, it is essential that you have worked in a similar Carpenter/Joiner position, and experienced in manufacturing bespoke joinery, a good strong knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety. Experienced in both power and hand tools and be a confident communicator.

In return, for the role of Bench Joiner/ Carpenter role, our client is offering a starting salary of up to £37,570, 33 days holiday including public holidays, pension, on-site parking, career development opportunities and exciting team events.
