Join Our Team as a Machine Setter!
Location: Staveley, Westmorland and Furness

Are you detail-oriented and skilled in machinery? We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team! If you're passionate about ensuring machines run efficiently and safely while meeting quality standards, we want to hear from you! Temp to Perm!

What You'll Do:

Set up and calibrate machines for production orders.
Perform adjustments and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
Inspect machinery to ensure it's in top working order.
Monitor performance and make necessary adjustments for optimal efficiency.
Lead a small team, collaborating closely with production and maintenance staff.
Maintain detailed records of settings, maintenance, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards.

Hours:

Week 1: Mon-Thurs 5:30 am - 1:30 pm, Fri 5:30 am - 11:00 am
Week 2: Mon-Thurs 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm, Fri 11:00 am - 4:30 pm

Pay Rate: Starting at £13, progressing to £14.50 per hour.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Machine Setter or Operator in manufacturing.
Solid understanding of machine operations and safety procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
Good physical stamina and capacity to lift and move equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Education:
Technical or vocational training in machinery or mechanical engineering preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10 to 12 kgs regularly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
