Crowland – Real Leadership in a Values-Led Organisation

We’re recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead a children’s home in Crowland for a provider committed to high-quality, therapeutic care. This is a key leadership role where you’ll shape a safe, supportive, and development-focused environment for young people with real autonomy and robust support.

About the Role:

• Take full responsibility for the running of a children’s home in line with the Statement of Purpose

• Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and Ofsted SCCIF framework

• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of each young person

• Coordinate assessments, care plans, risk assessments, and pathway planning

• Lead and support a multi-disciplinary team including care, education, and clinical staff

• Manage staffing levels, training, performance, and recruitment

• Foster strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external agencies

• Promote a trauma-informed, therapeutic culture throughout the home

About You:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) or equivalent

• Extensive experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting

• Strong understanding of attachment, trauma, and therapeutic care

• Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and support complex needs

• Skilled in managing staff, resources, compliance, and multi-agency relationships

• High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
