Job Title: Plastic Fabricator (UK & International Travel)
Salary: Up to £44,000 + Overtime + Benefits + Expenses
Hours: 37.5 Per Week 
Location: Coventry (Travel required up to 30% of the year) 
Job Type: Permanent 

The Opportunity

We're on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Plastic Fabricator to join a leading engineering company in Coventry. This is a chance to step into a key role where you'll be responsible for manufacturing high-quality, bespoke plastic components from engineering drawings and instructions. This position offers more than just workshop fabrication; you will also be involved in on-site assembly and installation for projects both in the UK and internationally. Your Responsibilities

Fabrication and Assembly: Expertly manufacture custom plastic components and products based on precise drawings, sketches, and both written and verbal instructions.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate production and project delivery.
Quality and Craftsmanship: Maintain a high standard of work, ensuring all fabricated items meet the company's stringent quality standards.
On-Site Installation: Be prepared to travel for assembly and installation work at client locations, which may require overnight stays.
Problem-Solving: Tackle challenges head-on to ensure project deadlines are met without compromising on the quality of your work.What We're Looking For

Experience: Proven experience as a plastic fabricator.
Technical Skills: Proficient in hot gas welding and precise material cutting.
Material Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of plastic materials, including polypropylene, polycarbonate, PETG, HDPE, PVDF, and PVC.
Tool Proficiency: Competent in using various plastic equipment, including extrusion welding and a variety of hand tools.
Flexibility: A willingness to undertake site work, which can involve travel and overnight stays.
