Quality Engineer – Sunbury | Up to £45,000 | Full-Time, On-Site

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading engineering company based in Sunbury, is seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join their high-performing team.

In this crucial role, you'll ensure that products, services, and business activities consistently meet or exceed industry and customer expectations. You'll be a key figure in maintaining and enhancing the company’s Quality Management System, supporting compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain company-wide accreditations to ISO9001 and IEC (phone number removed) across all relevant departments.

Act as the primary contact for external auditors and inspection bodies during audits.

Analyse Improvement Reports, non-conformances, and corrective/preventative actions; report findings at Management Reviews.

Schedule, manage, and conduct Internal Quality Audits in coordination with the Quality Team.

Lead the implementation of corrective and preventative actions, ensuring proper documentation of all changes.

Investigate and contain non-conformances, working closely with relevant teams to drive resolution.

Support ongoing continuous improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of quality and innovation.

Manage, audit, and enhance 5S workplace organisation practices.

Requirements:
Engineering qualification or equivalent experience

ISO9001 Internal Auditor certification

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar quality-focused role

Background in electro-mechanical or mechanical engineering

Experience with ATEX/IECEx standards is desirable, or experience working with regulated products/sectors
