What you'll be doing;

Identify, list and package customer waste materials for transport while ensuring compliance with technical and legislative requirements

Manage time effectively, solve problems, and deliver exceptional customer service

Develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse customers, from small businesses to multinational organizations

Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain proper PPE and equipment standards

Conduct multiple customer visits within a 2-hour radius of site location

Ensure safe operations to protect self, team members, and customers from health and safety risks

Follow company procedures and legal requirements for hazardous waste handling, packaging, labeling, and transportation

What we're looking for;

Essential

Science related degree/HNC/HND Level

Manual handling - Must be able to lift reasonable weights safely.

Valid UK driving licence

You would be expected to drive commercial vehicles, up to and including 7.5Te vehicles - training can be given.

Desirable

ADR (International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) qualification - Training can be given.

Health and Safety Qualification

Sound knowledge of environmental legislation

Knowledge of the waste industry/dangerous goods
