Are you a passionate and resilient qualified teacher with a drive to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

A specialist provision in the Birkenhead area is seeking an experienced and committed SEMH Teacher to join their ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting students with a range of complex needs, both in group and individual settings.

Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs - Manage and support students displaying challenging behaviours - Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment - Work collaboratively with support staff, external agencies, and parents/carers - Track and monitor pupil progress in line with EHCPs and individual targets

Candidate Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential - Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply and pay for one) - At least 24 months of verifiable employment history with no significant gaps - Experience teaching within an SEMH or SEN setting is highly desirable - Excellent behaviour management and a calm, consistent approach - Strong communication and relationship-building skills

You must be willing to attend a registration interviewAll pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay.

This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
