My client is looking for an experienced chef that can make sure that a nutritionally balanced food offering is made for the residents and staff.

Keen eye for food safety and hygiene management

Write in kitchen day book what is needed to do with the weekend food. (use book as guide for level of instructions needed)
Fridge door sheets need to be completed.
Ensure kitchen is kept clean, eg floors, worktops.
Meals are served x2 a day 12pm and 5pm
Up to 16 residents- lunch includes up to 12 staff/ tea includes up to 4 staff
Staff will serve themselves in the kitchen, residents in the main room= self-service (buffet style). Any residents in isolation will need plates made up. Staff to confirm numbers
Residents are responsible for washing up their pots etc, but you will need to run them through dishwasher
No Cooking with nuts, use allergen labels.One day cover to help client, but they do regularly need shifts so could be a good extra for the future too!
