Line Leader

Location: South Manchester

Shift: Monday – Friday, 2.00pm – 10.00pm

Salary: £30,368 - £31,824 Depending on Experience

The Role

As Line Leader, you’ll take ownership of production on your line, ensuring smooth running, efficiency, and compliance with food safety and company standards. Leading by example, you’ll train, coach, and mentor your team — keeping performance high and morale strong.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate your team to deliver efficient production against targets.
Supervise operatives, delegating tasks and ensuring output meets specifications.
Operate machinery safely and competently.
Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures.
Communicate effectively with your team and across departments.
Contribute to production meetings, huddles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a flexible approach to meet customer and business needs.

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

Has proven experience leading a team (or can clearly demonstrate leadership ability).
Brings experience in food or FMCG manufacturing.
Holds Food Safety & Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.
Is positive, proactive, and solutions focused.
Communicates clearly, professionally, and with respect.
Is willing to learn, adapt, and grow with the business.
