Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor

Job Type: Full time employed

Location: Chatteris

Salary: £40k - £45k plus Package

Company & Project: We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading social housing contractor, who are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated H&S professional to play a key role in ensuring compliance and driving a strong safety culture across a busy portfolio of housing refurbishment and maintenance projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide professional health & safety advice and support to operational teams across social housing projects.
Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.
Assist with the development and delivery of health & safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
Deliver toolbox talks and promote a proactive safety-first culture.
Investigate incidents and near misses, providing reports and recommending corrective actions.
Support the continuous improvement of health & safety systems and training.
Desirable Experience & Skills:

NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (minimum).
Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within construction or social housing.
Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, risk assessments, and auditing processes.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
