Are you a skilled and certified telehandler driver looking for immediate, short-term work? We're seeking a reliable professional to join our team on a busy new build housing site in South Otterington. If you're available to step in and help keep our project running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

Safely and efficiently operating the telehandler to move various construction materials (e.g., bricks, timber, roofing supplies) across the site.
Delivering materials promptly and precisely to different trades and work areas as needed, ensuring continuous workflow.
Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of incoming deliveries, coordinating with transport teams.
Performing daily machine checks to ensure safe operation before use, and reporting any issues immediately.
Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing a safe working environment.
Communicating effectively with site management, banksmen, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a telehandler driver, ideally with a background in new build housing sites.
Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo.
Possesses excellent operating skills and a strong awareness of their surroundings in a busy construction environment.
Is reliable, punctual, and has a proactive approach to their work.
Is committed to maintaining high safety standards on site at all times.
Full UK driving licence.
