Job Title: Year 5 Teacher - Darwen

£190 - £220 Per day

Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students
Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Relevant degree in Education or related field
Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
Organisational skills and ability to manage classroom resources effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
Experience working with Key Stage 2 students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a classroom setting with a diverse group of students. Regular school hours with additional time required for lesson planning and assessment. Collaboration with colleagues and participation in school events is expected.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
