Position: Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: SEN Unit, Mainstream Primary School – Northolt
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Pay: Competitive daily rate
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs in the Early Years?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Northolt. The role will be based within the school’s specialist SEN unit, providing tailored support to children in the Early Years with a range of needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN in the Early Years unit.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
Support the development of children’s communication, social, and emotional skills.
Implement strategies and interventions to meet individual learning needs.
Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN (Early Years experience desirable).
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
