Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer – Food/ FMCG
Location: Aberystwyth
Salary: Discussed On Initial Call (Competitive)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30 (40 hours)

Multi-Skilled Engineer Job Responsibilities:
* Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and driving continuous improvement.
* Responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
* Monitoring equipment to ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and quality standards.
* Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production lines, packaging machinery, and services equipment (including boilers, pasteurisers and processors).
* Performing machine modifications and plant improvements.
* Basic plumbing, fabrication, and general engineering repairs.
* Recording all activities accurately on CMMS systems.
* Working independently with minimal supervision, while also supporting the wider engineering team.
Required Multi-Skilled Engineer Qualifications:
* 18th Edition Electrical (City & Guilds) qualification OR Qualified by experience.
* Strong mechanical knowledge within an FMCG / manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in machine maintenance, fabrication, and fault finding.
* Ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical / mechanical faults.
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
