Full-Time Year 5 Class Teacher – Primary School in Northolt

The Role:

Position: Year 5 Class Teacher

Working Pattern: Full-time

Start Date: [Insert start date or “as soon as possible”]

Contract Type: Fixed-term or long-term (with potential for permanent placement)

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum

Assessing and tracking pupil progress, maintaining accurate records

Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive

Working collaboratively with year group colleagues, support staff, and parents

Contributing to the wider school life and upholding the school’s values

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)

A strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies

High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to raising standards

Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
