Senior Quantity Surveyor – Midhurst 🌟

We’re working with a fantastic, growing company who are now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a pivotal role within the business, leading their commercial department and shaping its future direction. Based from their Midhurst office, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work on high end residential projects, delivering homes for high-net-worth individuals with values up to £7m. ✨ The opportunity:

Lead the commercial department of a respected, growing main contractor

*

Office-based role in Midhurst, working on super high-end residential projects

*

Oversee and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor

*

Genuine progression to a leadership position, with autonomy to shape processes and strategy

🔑 Responsibilities:

*

Manage projects from tender stage right through to handover

*

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cashflow forecasts

*

Oversee subcontractor procurement and contract management

*

Lead commercial negotiations and ensure project profitability

*

Support and develop junior team members

✅ What we’re looking for:

*

Degree qualified and/or RICS accredited

*

Strong background in high-end residential main contracting

*

Proven experience taking projects from tender through to final handover

*

Commercially astute with excellent leadership and communication skills

*

Driven, ambitious, and ready to take ownership of the role
