Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary 
Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London Pay Scale)
School Type: Mainstream Secondary School (Ages 11–18)

Key Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Edmonton, North London. The school is seeking a confident and inspiring practitioner who can deliver high-quality Maths teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. Experience at Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT looking to further develop their career in a vibrant and well-resourced school.

The Role – Mathematics Teacher

As a key member of the Mathematics department, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster curiosity and resilience in learners

Plan and teach effectively across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5)

Use assessment and feedback to support student progress and attainment

Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of studentsContribute to the ongoing development of the Maths curriculum and enrichment activities

Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement

Experience at KS5 is beneficial but not mandatory
