 The Role - Quality Controller

As a Quality Controller, you'll be part of a highly skilled inspection team, working across Aerospace products, Investment Castings, Mechanical and Electrical components, and Composites. Your role will be critical in ensuring world-class quality standards and supporting continuous improvement across the North Devon facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out mechanical and electrical inspection of aerospace products.

Conduct in-process inspections and First Article Inspections.

Investigate and resolve quality issues in line with procedures, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain accurate quality records and metrics.

Support the shop floor with technical issues.

Audit Approved Operators and support training of colleagues.

Work proactively to resolve problems and drive improvements.

Undertake other quality-related activities as required by the business.

About You

We're looking for motivated and detail-driven professionals with:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and Science.

Experience using measuring equipment and interpreting engineering drawings.

Knowledge of aerospace processes and FAIRs (AS 9102) advantageous.

Previous experience in inspection (Goods In, In-Process, or Final).

Strong IT skills and familiarity with root cause analysis tools (5 Whys / 8D).

City & Guilds or apprenticeship training in a relevant discipline is a plus.

(Training will be provided for the right candidate with strong technical aptitude.)
