Technical & Contract Review Engineer

📍 Location: Kingswinford
💷 Salary: £40-45k
🕒 Hours: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical & Contract Review Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and engineering new sales orders, ensuring customer requirements are met in full while achieving on-time delivery (OTD) targets. You will also create Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPSs) to support customer-specific projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong engineering background, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple departments to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

* Process all new sales orders, selecting the most cost-effective and compliant routing.

* Review customer specifications and engineering drawings, providing technical support to internal teams.

* Create ITPs and MPSs to meet customer and quality requirements.

* Work closely with production planning to ensure the best route is chosen based on capacity and capability.

* Act as a point of contact for customers on technical queries.

* Perform detailed contract reviews of sales orders and routings.

* Liaise with suppliers to procure raw materials and finished goods to meet demand.

What We’re Looking For

* Previous experience in a similar engineering/technical/ quality role.

* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

* Excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and compliance.

* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
