Compass Resourcing is currently recruiting for a highly regarded shopfitting main contractor who are based in Hull. They are looking for a Project Manager on a permanent basis. The company operate on projects nationwide, working with a number of large supermarket chains and high street retailers. Projects will consist of the refurbishment and fit-out of existing stores and some new build extension and construction. They are usually in the range of £5,000 to £1 million in value and the Project Manager will be looking after around 2-4 live projects at a time.

The project manager will deal with programming, client meetings, surveys, updates and reporting. You should be good with paperwork and managing people. You will be client facing and must have a professional and approachable manner. You should be a good motivator and able to get the best out of your team and subcontractors. You will need to have good IT skills and be pro-active. This position would suit an experienced Project Manager, but they could also consider someone newer to the industry who is working their way up to this level. Qualifications required: CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid

Standard working hours - 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £Negotiable (dependent on experience), plus car or car allowance, pension, and fuel.

This is a permanent position which is required ASAP
