About the Role
TeamJobs is looking for a hands-on Production Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Southend. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with advanced automated equipment, ensuring smooth, safe and efficient production processes.

You will play a key role in keeping operations running at peak performance - operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery, while working to the highest safety and quality standards.

What you will be doing

Operate, maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.

Follow production schedules to meet daily and weekly targets.

Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet standards.

Support continuous improvement activities to boost efficiency and output.

Perform planned maintenance to minimise downtime.

Record production activities and equipment maintenance accurately.

Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.

What we are looking for

Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or technical environment.

Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical engineering principles.

Strong technical aptitude with good problem-solving skills.

Confident using computer systems and data recording.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
