About the Role:
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students, helping them develop both their skills and confidence in mathematics. You will be part of a forward-thinking department with a focus on collaborative teaching and creating engaging learning experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
Building positive relationships with students and colleagues
Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and productive environment
Contributing to extracurricular activities and the wider school community
Working closely with staff to ensure effective progression and support
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is:

A qualified teacher with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Passionate about teaching and learning, with a commitment to raising student achievement
Experienced in teaching at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4)
Able to inspire and motivate students with a variety of learning styles
Skilled in planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
Enthusiastic about working as part of a collaborative and supportive team

Requirements

Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
Provide at least two professional employment references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
