Freight Coordinator - £27K - £31K - Glasgow

Freight Coordinator required for a Sunday Times top 250, family owned Logistics company who have recently celebrated their 150th year !

The Freight Forwarder have multiple UK sites - this role will be based from their Glasgow office of circa 35 employees.

Freight Coordinator - The Package :

Circa £27K - £31K

Medical Insurance

Pension scheme - contributory aﬅer 1 year service.

Up to 25 days holiday including bank holidays

Profit related bonus scheme

Monday to Friday - business hours

A British based multimodal freight forwarder specialising in logistics, e-commerce and warehousing. The business remains family owned and was founded in 1870 with 18 branches across the U.K.

As one of the largest independent freight forwarding companies in the UK we manage freight from around the world, by road and rail, through the air and across the oceans. .

Freight Coordinator - The Role:

This varied role involves working closely with our clients to manage all aspects of their shipments. This ranges from issuing quotes, arranging shipments, managing the customs clearance process and everything else through to ensuring the client receives their shipments on time. You will build close working relationships with clients, overseas partners as well as internal teams so good communication skills are key in this role. Continuous support and training will be given as we aim to help you develop your skills and knowledge to allow you to grow your career .

Freight Coordinator - Ideal requirements:

Freight Forwarding experience - Import or Export
Road Freight

Sea Freight

Customs

Customer Service
