About the Role
Link3 Recruitment is seeking a passionate History Teacher (QTS) to join one of our partner secondary schools in Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach History in a supportive, collaborative environment while working with a people-first recruitment agency you can trust.

Key Responsibilities

*

Plan and deliver engaging History lessons that meet the national curriculum and inspire pupils at KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable).

*

Assess, monitor, and support students’ progress and attainment.

*

Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment.

*

Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

*

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to help students thrive.

*

Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

*

Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding at all times.

Person Specification

Essential:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Strong knowledge of the History curriculum (KS3–KS4; KS5 desirable)

*

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

*

Positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning

*

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Desirable:

*

Previous experience teaching History in UK secondary schools

*

Flexibility to cover other subjects if needed

*

Additional qualifications (e.g., SEND, EAL, safeguarding training)
