Plant Manager - Renewable Energy
£40,000 - £45,000 + bonus & vehicle

Astute are proud to partner with a business who are seeking an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Plant Manager / Site Manager to join a leading business in the sector. I'm looking to speak to people with experience in AD and those who're from a Chemical or Process Engineering background.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Senior Management, as the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for:

Running the anaerobic digestion plant/site on a day to day basis
Lead a small team of Operators and a Maintenance Engineer on site
Lead continuous process improvement projects on site
Maintain compliance with the EA, the National Grid and all regulatory bodies
Maintain a high standard of site health and safety and instil positive attitude across the site, leading from the front
Assisting with the day to day operations on site, including running the plant via the SCADA system and assisting with maintenance activities where necessary
Being accountable and responsible for the site P&L and ensuring staff are meeting KPIs
Having an active input in writing and reviewing RAMS
Recruiting, training and mentoring staff
Working with the senior team in both personal and site development
Attending call outs when necessary
Other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

AD experience is preferable but by no means essential
A Process Engineer or Chemical Engineer would be advantageous
Experience in wastewater treatment, sewage treatment, effluent treatment and process plant environments would be great
Demonstrable management experience
A passion for Renewable Energy and a continuous improvement mindset
A valid UK driving licence is essential

Salary & Package
What's on offer for this exciting role:

A salary depending on experience, circa £42,500
A monthly bonus depending on plant performance
Company van, pension, 25 days holiday plus BH
