Linesman (UK Wide | 12-Month Contract)

We are currently seeking experienced Linesmen for long-term contract work on grid and distribution infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a 12-month contract, supporting 11kV and above overhead line works.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Overhead line construction, maintenance, and refurbishment

*

Pole erection, conductor stringing, and hardware installation

*

Working to DNO safety rules and permit-to-work systems

*

Supporting HV upgrade and new connection works

Required Competencies & Authorisations:

*

LE1 or LE2 certification (essential)

*

Prior DNO authorisation or eligibility to work under one of the following:

*

UKPN (e.g. HERS/NSI 4, OHL competencies)

*

SP Energy Networks (SPEN)

*

Northern Powergrid

*

Electricity North West (ENWL)

*

Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN)

*

National Grid (for 132kV+ OHL works)

*

Strong working knowledge of DNO safety rules, OHL procedures, and HV environments

*

Full UK driving licence (essential)

*

MEWP, first aid, and manual handling tickets preferred

Contract Details:

*

Duration: 12 months (outside IR35)

*

Location: UK wide – travel and digs may be covered depending on site

*

Rate: Competitive day rate, based on experience and authorisations

*

Start: Immediate / rolling starts available
