Part-Time Learning Support Assistant

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our SEN team on a part-time basis. You will work closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and social communication difficulties, supporting their learning, emotional development, and social integration.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASD and social communication needs

Implement tailored strategies to support learning and engagement

*
Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised support plans

* Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment

Requirements

*
Experience working with children in an SEN setting is essential

*
Understanding of ASD and social communication difficulties

*
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children

*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
