Full Time - 5 days a week

Permanent (Employed directly by the School)

£34,398 - £52,490 - MPS / UPS -Fringe Pay Scale + SEN Point

Forever Education is working with an exceptional SEN school that supports children and young people aged 2–19 with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This school has been rated Outstanding by OFSTED for over 21 years and is now seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with experience supporting students with PMLD and SLD to join their team from January 2026 . This is a permanent position to start from January 2026.

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Plan and deliver high-quality, tailored lessons that meet the complex needs of pupils with PMLD and SLD

* Work collaboratively with a team of teaching assistants and therapists to support holistic development

* Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

* Small class sizes of a maximun of 10 students and dedicated support of 3-4 teaching assistants

* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly

* Communicate effectively with families and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure consistent support for pupils

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* Qualified Teacher Status or QTLS - Essential

* Experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly PMLD and SLD

* A deep understanding of complex learning needs and a passion for inclusive education

* Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching approaches creatively

* A proactive, reflective, and flexible approach to teaching in a specialist setting

* Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm + 1 after school club a week to 5.15pm
