Brightwork are currently recruiting for our renowned manufacturing client based in North Ayrshire, this is an exciting time to join the business within an exceptional tea. We are currently recruiting for a temporary vacancy within the SHES department to support a number of work streams and onsite projects.

SHE Advisor Responsibilities:

Provide SHE guidance for site projects (including requirements from CDM)
Support co-ordination of SHE requirements across site
Provide strong SHE supervision of contractors including auditing for compliance
Effectively engaging across all disciplines on site
Provide support with SHE inspections of contractors’ equipment
Provide technical advice and leadership to implement SHE improvements for site projects
Provide advice to the various site teams and contractors as required
Contribute to SHE KPIs performance
Carry out permit audits throughout the site
Support preparation, organisation and delivery of SHE inductions and training
Supporting SHE incident and Near Miss investigations
Supporting the management, development and implementation of systems and procedures to ensure SHE compliance with Corporate requirements and UK/EU legislation;
Undertake any other SHE related duties as required
Successful candidate will have a keen interest in SHE and have suitable qualifications relating to SHE eg. NEBOSH. Specialists knowledge in lifting, working at height/scaffolding, process safety would be favorable. Experience of managing SHE within manufacturing/multi-project environment is desirable. A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential. Candidate should have proven track record of competence in their current role with excellent interpersonal, planning and organisation skills. Other essential behaviors are self-motivation, team player, excellent communication and auditing skills and ability to engage positively with others. Some evening and weekend cover may be required
