We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive early years team within a Wallasey Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a supportive and hands-on learning environment.
Working hours for this role are 8.30am-3.30pm.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
* Assisting with the personal, social, and emotional development of children aged 0-5
* Helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment
* Observing and recording children’s progress
* Building strong relationships with children, staff, and parents
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in an early years setting (nursery, preschool or similar)
* A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent)
* A genuine passion for working with young children
* A proactive, patient, and caring approach
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
