You’ll work directly with an experienced Head of Product and a supportive Product Administrator, learning the ropes in a business that values safety, quality, and innovation. Projects span mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines in a regulated industry where safety is paramount.

As the product team grows, they are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Product Manager to support product management activities and contribute to delivering best-in-class solutions.

What we’re looking for
Ideally, you’ll have 1–2 years’ experience in a professional environment such as product development, manufacturing operations, or business analysis, plus:

* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management (PLM)

* Exposure to stage gate processes

However, if your background is different but you bring curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organised and adapt, we still want to hear from you. They'll provide the training – you bring the mindset.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in maintaining and updating the product roadmap, tracking milestones, and aligning plans with business goals

* Support the preparation of documentation for the stage gate process, including business cases, feasibility research, and product specifications

* Gather and analyse customer feedback, competitor activity, and market trends to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements

* Contribute to product forecasting, tracking market changes, and supporting pricing decisions with accurate data

* Coordinate product launches and updates, working closely with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams

* Monitor product performance and support decisions on upgrades, repositioning, or discontinuation

* Conduct competitor and market research to inform product strategy and positioning

Why this role stands out

* Full training and ongoing development from an experienced Head of Product

* Variety; you’ll be involved in everything from concept to launch

* Exposure to multiple product types and disciplines

* A culture that values adaptability, communication, and problem-solving

* Clear progression pathway in product management

The package

* Salary £30,000 – £32,000 (with salary reviews at 6 and 12 months)

* 36-hour working week (Mon–Thu 8:30–17:00, Fri 8:30–15:30)

* Flexiable benefits scheme

* Enhanced Pension

* On-site parking & good transport links

* Hybrid working (2 days from home after initial 6 months’ training)

* Permanent role with long-term prospects

If you’re adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to make your mark in product management, apply now. This is a rare chance to gain a strong foothold in a competitive market with a global leader in their field.
