Registered Nurse – Join a Forward-Thinking Nursing Team
Full-time & Part-time roles available

We're looking for committed and compassionate Registered Nurses who want to grow their clinical expertise and be part of a progressive care home environment in Penzance. This is a unique opportunity to work in a paper-free, tech-supported setting with a strong focus on nurse development and resident-centred care.

Package

* Salary: £44,300 – £50,300 per annum (£22.75 – £25.76 per hour) DOE

* £3/hour night enhancement

* £1.50/hour weekend enhancement

* Time and a half for overtime

* Double pay on 5 key Bank Holidays

* Paid NMC Pin Registration (subject to policy)

Requirements

* NMC Registered Nurse (Part 1 or Part 2)

* Experience in nursing for older people

* Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills

* Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

* Ability to adapt to fast-paced, complex care situations

* Knowledge of the CQC Fundamental Standards (desirable)

* Committed to personal and professional growth

Responsibilities

* Deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based care

* Coordinate and lead shifts with support from Clinical Leads and Specialist Carers

* Complete and maintain electronic care records and eMAR systems

* Carry out initial assessments and develop person-centred care plans

* Liaise with families, MDTs, GPs and community services to ensure seamless care

* Act as advocate for residents, ensuring dignity, choice and wellbeing

* Supervise and support junior care staff, promoting skill development

* Take the lead in clinical or non-clinical emergencies

* Support compliance with policies, NMC Code and CQC standards
