Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Passive Fire

Location: Swanley, Kent
Company: Main Contractor

Salay: £50,000 - £60,000

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a market leading main contractor that specialise within the passive fire protection sector operating within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide accurate cost estimates, forecasts, and budget management.

* Prepare, issue, and manage contracts and subcontracts.

* Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with budget constraints.

* Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality, and ensure works are in line with the contract.

* Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

* Identify and mitigate any potential risks related to costs, schedules, or contractual issues.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and legal regulations.

* Provide regular reports to senior management on financial performance and project progress.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a strong understanding of FRA works (Fire Stopping, Fire Doors)

* Previous experience managing fire safety projects is highly desirable.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

* A keen eye for detail, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
