Description

Looking for a Support Worker role that really makes a difference – even at night?

We’re recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to join a warm and dedicated residential team supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. This is a Support Worker role where your care and calm presence overnight helps children feel safe, supported, and settled.

What you’ll be doing:

* Being a consistent and caring Support Worker during the night.

* Helping with bedtime routines, emotional support, and personal care if needed.

* Monitoring the home, handling any incidents calmly, and maintaining detailed records.

* Creating a safe, reassuring atmosphere for children to sleep peacefully.

What you’ll bring:

* Experience as a Support Worker (or transferable skills from similar roles).

* A calm, kind and patient nature.

* Confidence managing challenging behaviour with compassion and consistency.

* A genuine desire to support children with complex needs.

Why this Support Worker role is different:

* You’ll be part of a team that values each child as an individual.
