Gaining significant investment in the business in 2020 has allowed the business to drive growth, becoming the go-to trusted and reliable retrofit installer in Scotland. We install energy efficient measures in domestic properties, such as Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charge Points and Insulation.
Governed by our core values and mission statement, we aspire to create a zero-carbon fuel wealthy world. The company have large volumes of funding in place to deliver ECO/ GBIS projects in Scotland, partnering with 18 Scottish local authorities. As a health & Safety advisor, you play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of sustainable home solutions.
You will be responsible for overseeing and advising on all aspects of health, safety and environmental standards in line with both legal and industry best practices. Your expertise will help the company maintain a safe working environment for our team, subcontractors and clients while ensuring our projects meet all regulatory requirements.
Job Title
Health & Safety Advisor
The role:
* Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies, procedures and practices for all company projects.
* Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
* Provide guidance and training to employees and contractors on safety protocols.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and ensure and company’s practices align with these.
The Individual
* NEBOSH certification or equivalent safety qualification.
* Proven experience in health & safety advisory roles, preferably within the construction or sustainability sectors.
* Excellent knowledge of health & safety and environmental legislation.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead safety training sessions.
* Ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend practical solutions.
* Ability to create safe operational practices.
* Proactive, self-motivated and detail orientated.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant cost management software
