Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £46,000 - £47,000
Hours: Monday to Friday – Day shift

What the role involves for the HGV Technician:

As an HGV Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining buses to ensure they remain in top working condition. You’ll work on a range of vehicle components including engines, brakes, electrical systems, and transmissions. This role also involves ensuring compliance with all safety standards and conducting routine maintenance.

What you’ll do as the HGV Technician:

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on state-of-the-art coaches and HGV fleet to highest company and DVSA standards
Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, electrical systems, air-conditioning, and mechanical components
Ensure all maintenance follows manufacturer guidelines
Use diagnostic tools to assess performance of engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
Fully conversant with vehicle hydraulics, pneumatics & electrics. 
What you’ll need to be an HGV Technician:

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, Time Served, or equivalent in HGV/PSV Maintenance
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Familiarity with workshop equipment and electrical system repairs
