Onboarding Trainer/Assessor Health and Social Care/Residential Child Care

I am currently supporting a reputable Training Provider who I have had the pleasure of recruiting for the last 10 years.
Due to growth I am now recruiting for a Qualified Trainer/Assessor with experience in coaching and assessing Health and Social Care and Residential Child Care Apprenticeship Programmes.
This role is very unique as there is minimal travel as the majority of the work is done remotely from home.

This role will focus on the learner's introduction and onboarding to their apprenticeship.
The onboarding Trainer will ensure that the learners have all of the resources, learning material, support and understanding of their apprenticeship so they a great onboarding and induction experience.

Duties of the Trainer/Assessor- will include:
Onboarding and inducting learners who are undertaking Apprenticeship qualifications in Health and Social Care and Residential Child Care- From level 2 to level 5
Enrolling learners and completing the signup process
Providing constructive support and feedback to the learner during their first month of their apprenticeship
Providing information and guidance to the learner during the 1st month of their apprenticeship
Working to specific quality and completion of targets
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
To provide support to the learners through a variety of platforms to include telephone, email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype and online learning platforms
Organising weekly and monthly reviews with the learners to ensure they are progressing.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required for the Trainer Assessor

Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA,
Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS, Award in Education and Training
Minimum of level 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care or Early Years- ideally within Residential child care
Experience in delivering and assessing Apprenticeship Programmes in Health and Social Care to level 5and Residential Child Care to level 3
Excellent IT Skills and proficient in using E-Portfolio's and Online Learning and Assessment platforms
Experience in using Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Skype is highly desirable
Vocational competence ideally at Supervisor level in Health and Social Care and Residential Child Care
