Job Title: Recycled Aggregates Quarry Manager
Location: Eversley, Hampshire
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are working with one of the South of England’s leading waste management and recycling companies to recruit a Quarry Manager for their recycled aggregates site based in Eversley, Hampshire. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the chance to join a well-established, family-run business.

Our client operates across Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, and Surrey, with nine recycling facilities and a fleet of over 150 vehicles. The company processes more than one million tonnes of waste and recycled materials annually and continues to invest heavily in plant, infrastructure, and its people.

As Quarry Manager, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations on site, ensuring recycled aggregate production meets WRAP protocol and required specifications, and maintaining full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and planning regulations.

Key responsibilities:

Manage site operations, staff, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient production

Ensure all recycled aggregates meet relevant standards and client specifications

*

Maintain accurate daily site records and submit weekly returns and reports

*

Monitor stock levels and oversee resource planning

*

Ensure plant and equipment are maintained and defects reported promptly

*

Conduct site safety inspections and support internal and external audits

*

Liaise with the Environment Agency and planning authorities as required

*

Lead and motivate the team, supporting recruitment, training, and performance

*

Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities

*

Identify and implement site improvements and efficiency gains

About you:

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in quarry or waste site management, ideally with a background in recycled aggregates. You’ll need strong leadership and organisational skills, knowledge of crushing and screening operations, and a clear understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

A full UK driving licence is essential. Qualifications such as WAMITAB/CIWM, MPQC NVQ, IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid and Fire Marshal are desirable but not essential.
