About The Role:
Residential Child Support Workers required in Crawley. The role is based on a full-time basis of 39 hours a week. Residential Child Support Workers will be required to attend the needs and care for their young residents. Successful Residential Child Support Workers, will be paid between £11-12 per hour; dependant on experience. Staff are required to support residents with day to day activities, such as attending school or classes and days out.

Required expectations:
• Flexible hands on approach
• Warm natured and good communication skills
• Right to Work ID
• Must be a driver, as using company vehicles
• Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of working with young people
• Over 23 years of age, due to company policy

Role Responsibilities:
• Provide care and support to residents
• Assisting residents with social activities
• To follow instruction given by team leader/senior staff
• Encourage and motivate residents
• Record and maintain resident’s records and hand over all relevant information
• Undertake some domestic duties i.e. light cleaning and food preparation
