Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join the Group Production Management team in Salisbury.
 
This Production Supervisor role is paying £34.398 per annum. You will be working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
 
Reporting directly to the Group Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of window, door, and curtain-wall fabrication, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, in full, and to specification.
 
Key Responsibilities

Achieve daily production targets in line with the schedule.
Supervise the fabrication of windows, doors, and curtain-walling using various tools and machinery (CNC, mitre saws, routers, drills, corner cleaners, crimpers, etc.).
Ensure efficient workflow and task completion within allocated timeframes.
Identify and resolve production issues, collaborating with teams across fabrication, quality control, H&S, purchasing, scheduling, and design.
Ensure all products are delivered OTIF (On Time In Full), meeting required quality standards.
Report safety and quality concerns to the Group Production Manager promptly.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production facility.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the production area, including waste management.
Embrace a ‘right first time’ philosophy to reduce errors and rework.
Coach, train, and mentor new and existing team members according to the skills matrix.
Coordinate with Material Handling to ensure timely availability of production materials.
Support other departments in resolving NCRs, replacements, and manufacturing queries.
Attend cross-functional meetings related to orders, production, purchasing, and installation.
Ensure timely completion of production packs and accurate updating of project trackers.
Assist with V6/project planning and SOA checks as needed. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Proven experience as a supervisor in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
Commitment to high-quality standards and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Team leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
