A dynamic and ambitious secondary school in Swindon is looking to appoint a passionate and engaging Music Teacher to join its vibrant performing arts faculty from September 2025. This is a permanent, full-time role open to both experienced Music Teachers and ECTs ready to inspire the next generation of musicians.

The school is well known for its commitment to the performing arts, regularly staging musicals, concerts, and ensemble showcases. As a Music Teacher, you’ll benefit from a specialist music suite, a rich co-curricular programme, and an SLT that values creativity and expression.

As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, and possibly KS5

*

Delivering creative and inclusive lessons in composition, theory, and performance

*

Leading ensembles and choirs and coordinating school concerts

*

Supporting students in music GCSE coursework and performance assessments

*

Building strong relationships with students to nurture musical talent

*

Contributing to curriculum design and whole-school arts events

To be successful in the Music Teacher role, you will:

*

Hold a Music-related degree and QTS

*

Be confident teaching a wide range of musical styles and techniques

*

Have excellent piano/accompaniment or performance skills

*

Be eager to contribute to a thriving co-curricular programme
