Overview The mission of the Unified Endpoint Security Specialist (UESS) team is to contribute to the sale and enablement of Tanium Unified Endpoint Security Products and Solutions. The UESS team provides a very central and foundational role to further the success and adoption of Tanium Products and Solutions with security-oriented buyers. At the highest level the goals of the UESS team are to: - Provide expert level support for account teams for selling Tanium Unified Endpoint Security Products and Solutions. - Enabling customers to fully utilize their investments in Tanium Unified Endpoint Security Products and Solutions. The Regional Vice President (RVP) will manage a group of UES Specialists. This people leader will provide direction, feedback and vision that guides the team.Roles/Responsibilities - Direct management of hard-working and motivated UES Specialists with high expectations of individual ownership and impact. This will include: - Owning and facilitating team meetings to ensure consistent and appropriate updates are provided and discussed, team collaboration and problem-solving is fostered, and constructive feedback is solicited - Holding regular 1:1 sessions to learn and understand the knowledge, skills, abilities, strengths, and opportunities for team, and ensure constructive and real-time feedback/coaching is delivered - Ensuring completion of training, skills enhancement and certification of job qualification requirements - Strong understanding of the UES suite while ensuring UES Specialists are properly empowered to drive its long-term success - Hold team members accountable for understanding, preserving, and furthering the Tanium culture within the immediate team and the organization - In partnership with the Global VP - Product SMEs, outline the vision for the team, and anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges via thoughtful short-term and long-term planning - Strategically delegate and/or reorganize tasks, focuses, and workload of team members based on surges, demands, and changes with products and initiatives - Demonstrate a strong leadership role in all customer support, enablement, and product quality initiatives within your product suite - Serve as the first point of contact on all issues within the product suite - Think critically through customer support, troubleshooting, and developing new capabilities in the Tanium UES product suite - Identify, communicate, and champion the remediation of key product gaps and deficiencies that are driving high TAM support requirements - Initiate and manage projects and programs to help make supporting our customers and products more efficient - Work closely with the Technical Enablement team to establish content for the onboarding, training and certification of Tanium technical skills - Work closely with the Marketing team to validate customer use cases, build key customer messaging, and develop competitive intelligenceMinimum & Preferred Requirements - 10+ years experience in technical positions required - 10 years plus experience in customer-facing or customer support positions - 10+ years of operational experience in endpoint operations or security - Leadership of a highly technical team (direct management experience preferred, demonstrated ability to successfully lead and mentor a highly technical team in a player-coach capacity is required) - Demonstrated patience and ability to work well with a highly diverse group of individuals - Known reputation for being respected and respectful with regards to interactions with customers and Engineering/product teams at all levels - Data-driven and operationally minded - Rapid resource allocation/cross-leveling abilities - Ability to translate strategic goals into tactical engagement/execution - Deep, systematic problem solving skills - Demonstrates initiative, motivation, dependability, and a positive attitude - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Person of high ethics and integrity.
