Field Logistics Specialist US, US, Field Minimum Level of Education Required: High School/Equivalent Percentage of Travel: No travel required Location: Field Field State: Arizona Ref#: Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities The Field Logistics Specialist position is part of the Field/Office Based Logistics Team. The position is a courier/driver position preparing/making deliveries and pickups of medical equipment used during spine surgery. The position coordinates closely with the Logistics Team, Development Team, Marketing Team, and Customers. The principal responsibilities of the Field Logistics Specialist position are to coordinate cases, travel to hospitals, and deliver/pick up basic medical trays. The secondary responsibility of the Field Logistics Specialist position is to lead the training and education for new product and process rollouts. Detailed documentation of servicing activities and inventory transactions is imperative. Essential Responsibilities - Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or product - Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative - Develop current and future product knowledge with a focus on resource management - Establish thorough knowledge of operating systems (Atlas, and SAP) with a focus on case coordination - Communicate with customers and hospital personnel professionally - Communicate with management on a daily basis with regards to operational issues and/or improvements - Maintain record, reports, and files - Maintain and support Quality initiatives - Applicant must have the ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision - Maintain a clean driving record - May be responsible for the training of new hire FTs as well as new product and process roll-outs for applicable Boundary location - Proficient in ATLAS Mobile - Begin the development of assisting in the routing of other FTs with direction from FS team - Begin the development of assisting and coordination of inventory staging for delivery by FTs Required Skills / CapabilitiesRequired Skills / Capabilities - Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience - Valid Drivers license with a good driving record - Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs - Ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment - Adept at interacting with customers and hospital staff Education and Experience - Medical device logistics experience with knowledge on local roadways Travel and/or Physical Requirements - Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs - Local travel only NuVasive is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
