About Our Client

Our client is a civil & structural engineering consultancy who work across a wide range of sectors.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Senior or Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their Development team in Cardiff. The candidate will ideally have a minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience.

Competencies Required

Essential

Strong knowledge of drainage design and external works - particularly related to SuDS, building drainage and SAB approvals;
Experience with industry standard design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microdrainage;
Self-motivated and ability to work well as part of a team, offering support to the office principal as well as the ability to work independently as required;
Effective communication skills to prepare reports and liaise with project team members;
Experience undertaking flood consequence assessments, working in a D&B environment and developer infrastructure projects would be highly desirable;
Knowledge of building and CDM regulations is essential, as is experience in managing projects, contracts, budgetary control, specification preparation and liaising with clients.
Ideally you will be professionally qualified or progressing towards a professional qualification and are looking for a company to support you;
The role is suitable for individuals who wish to develop to take on additional responsibility as their career progresses, and team leadership will be an option for the right candidate.Qualifications and Accreditation's Required

BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a relevant field.Remuneration
