Job Description:

We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to provide ad hoc cover on a city centre project in Swansea. The scheme involves the conversion of an existing building into residential flats with commercial units on the ground floor, on behalf of a well-established main contractor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, on programme and to the required quality standards during cover periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth running of the site during cover.

Coordinate trades and subcontractors to maintain progress and quality.

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.

*

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and maintain site records.

*

Communicate effectively with the project team and subcontractors.

*

Identify and resolve any site issues promptly.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Site Manager on similar refurbishment/conversion projects.

*

Experience managing trades across both residential and commercial elements.

*

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications required.

*

Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

*

Ability to step into the project at short notice and maintain standards
