Senior Interior Designer

Location:             Holborn, Central London
Salary:                 £52,000 – £58,000 depending on experience

This opportunity would be ideal for a Senior Interior Designer or Project Lead with proven experience in the Hospitality interiors sector and is confident using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Package:

Salary:   £52,000 – £58,000
23 days holiday + bank holidays

Office:   Central London
Hours:   9:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (with flexibility available)

Duties:

Lead the design process from concept to completion across high-end hospitality and commercial projects
Create compelling concept presentations, including storyboards and layouts, and present to clients and consultant teams with confidence
Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and guide junior designers through the delivery of comprehensive drawing packages
Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery on time and within budget
Attend and actively contribute to site meetings, mock-up reviews, snagging inspections, and joinery workshops, helping troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues
Oversee multiple projects or project zones simultaneously, driving team performance while mentoring and developing junior team members
Lead the FF&E process from concept to production, sourcing and developing bespoke pieces that align with the overall design narrative
Stay up to date with building regulations, hospitality trends, and material innovation, applying this knowledge throughout the design and delivery process 

Requirements:

Minimum 6 years’ experience in interior design, ideally within the hospitality and commercial sectors
Full proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp
Experience managing small teams and mentoring designers at all levels
Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage client relationships with confidence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of UK building regs and hospitality standards, with a solutions-focused mindset
